For those of you who have come to the site to view my upcoming projects and classes, please be patient.

On December 18, 2006, the trailer where I was living caught on fire and everything I owned burnt. 5 of my 6 cats also perished in the blaze. I am living at my parents home right now, and will continue to design and get projects together. It has been an emotional time and I hope what they say is true - that time does heal all wounds.

Over time I will be posting photos of my cats. They were my pride and joy. My oldest was Euphrates (Euphy). She was 15 years old and as active as she was when she was a kitten. I also had 3 siblings who I fostered from 6 weeks of age. Nobody wanted to take all three of them, so I kept them. Murphy, Miss Mallory Mew and Mitzi-Lou-Who were only 43 years old. Oliver, my 2 year old was outside at the time and he is alive and well. The last was Elly, a rescue kitten who lost two of her siblings and she herself was alone. She came back to me and Murphy took care of her like she was his sister. I really miss all my kitties. I still think about them every day. The one thing that I can give thanks for is that they perished from smoke inhalation long before the flames took over. I found 4 of the 5 of them and each one was in their sleeping spots, looking as if they were napping. I could not find one and sometimes I go back to the trailer and call her just in case she got out.

Thanks for coming to the blog. I will be posting projects and new classes as they are created.
